I really enjoyed her books, though the dialogue seemed to be written to advance the plot rather than to reflect how people actually speak .....

I'm never happy to see the passing of anyone, let alone someone with talent but for me the fact that she, on several occasions voted against equal rights for gay people in the HoL meant that I lost all respect for her.
