Come and join us at Belair House this Sunday 30th November to get in the festive spirit! Mrs. Christmas herself will be making a guest appearance as we turn on our Christmas lights on our 14ft tree!

There will be mulled wine and mince pies and we will be serving our delicious Sunday roasts from 12pm-6pm. To top it all off the brilliant Electric Belles Choir will also be performing some Christmas classics.

If you can't join us this weekend then be sure to pop by as we will be open throughout the Christmas period including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day! Our live jazz evenings on Wednesdays and swing dance classes on Tuesday will continue throughout December. We are also throwing a New Year's Eve party, with live entertainment and the option of a four course meal!

  The good news is that the Blythe's new leaseholder is Austin Whelan, who runs a chain of very decent Irish pubs, mainly in south London. By all accounts, he has no intention of making any major changes. It reopened last week.

  A builder said that to me once! What I should have said (but thought of it too late) was that given that I was paying him to do a job, I expected that my glass would be full, not half full 🤣 But yes, you are right in this instance!

  Just had a flyer through the door. Posting here for people who haven't had theirs yet. The 50% off food is for three days only, and advance bookings only. I liked the EDT as it used to be, so I really hope the changes won't be too massive. Last time I looked through the window the bar seemed to be still in the same place, but who knows. Think I'll wait a bit to try the food. When The Lordship launched, we went for a meal there and let's say things didn't go smoothly 😂 Anybody who was there will know what I mean 😂 They have redeemed themselves since, I hasten to add 😂
