dulwichmum
Dear Mightyroar,My kids have Crocs, and so does the au pair - as I thought that they would assist me with my plan to dis-improve her looks. However, I also bought myself a pair as they felt so comfortable - but I tossed them in the coal hole when I remembered how damn ugly they are. I always feel a slight lift in the heel of a shoe accentuates my tiny shapely ankles.I bought my husband a pair, as they are ideal for beach wear - by the pool/in the sand/general comfy shoe for holidays. He will be away soon, and will get good use out of them. They can look rather sweet on kids with the cute little buttons on them to personalise them. My kids love the badges - skulls and cross bones, jewels etc.I personally will never be seen in a pair, they are far too ugly...DM Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/511-crocs/#findComment-11596 Share on other sites
bagpuss78
Love them, I have a bright turquiose pair, they are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have.I do get a bit of ribbing from the boys down the pub though! :-$ Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/511-crocs/#findComment-11603 Share on other sites
spymum
My boys have them and all my friends have them but I have yet to take the plunge! They are so comfy and pretty that I wrote a whole post about them ;-) - but this still hasn't helped me to make up my mind!I worry that short women of 5' 2" cannot get away with flat, orthopaedic shoes, no matter how pretty are!spymum(Blog: Posh Mum) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/511-crocs/#findComment-11604 Share on other sites
buggie
I'm only 5ft 2" and I love my croc's!!! Bought them down in Cornwall as everyone was wearing them, and a week after returning broke my toe so they were the only thing I could wear for the week following. They are fantastic, and I don't think their too clumpy at all, even my boyfriend likes them and he can be bit funny about things like them! spymum
Arrgh! Get thee behind me you 5' 2" Satan! And the coolest mum at the school gate had hers on this morning as well! OK - I give in; I'm going to get myself a pair. The only question is, what colour..... (heh heh).spymum(Blog: Posh Mum)PS: Hope the toe is healing up nicely - I last broke a toe falling out of a cab somewhat worse for the wear. OK - very worse for the wear. How embarrassing. ;-) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/511-crocs/#findComment-11755 Share on other sites

snowboarder
L just took the croc plunge and I love 'em!! Loads more cool colours this year - mine are kind of aqua. Might not wear them to work though....BUT they do look a bit funny, and they are completely ED. Like MBT's - if you wear them out of the area you do get funny looks.
