Admin Assistant role for Property Manager

I am a self employed Property Manager, looking for an administrative assistant to start asap.

I manage a portfolio of buy to let property across London, which involves setting up tenancies and managing repairs on behalf of landlords.

The job would be mainly administrative tasks, however a knowledge of property management would be an advantage.

You must have a good working knowledge of using Mac computers, Word and Excel as well as a good typing speed. You must have previous experience working in an office environment. I think the job would suit someone who has had a career and perhaps now wishes to work a few hours a week.

You will be a forward thinking, organised person. Able to work quickly and with a polite, professional manner.

Example tasks include:

Placing adverts online for vacant properties

Adding to and editing a database of properties and tenants

Online filing of documents via dropbox

Basic book keeping using Excel spreadsheets

Creating documents for the business- letters, forms, contracts and inventories (I will provide training for this)

Researching online to find and buy products

Contacting tradespeople to make appointments

I have a home office and the job would be working from my home to start with, with the possibility to work some hours from home in future.

The position pays ?10 per hour

10 hours per week split over Monday and Friday. Probably 10am - 3pm. To be confirmed and can be flexible on this.

There may be scope to grow the role over time for the right person.

If you would like to apply, please email your cv or outline of your experience and current situation to me at [email protected]

Hi there,

This role appeals to me very much not only because of it's location, but it is a role that I am familiar with as up to recently, I had been working as a freelance PA where no two days were the same and be faced with different challenges along the way. It may also interest you to know that I managed a 1 bed Holland Park property for 4 years up until it.s sale. As one contract has come to an end I am in a position to take on something new.

A CV is attached for your attention.

As you will see, I have had a number of years experience within both creative and corporate sectors, most of which was in an senior administrative role.

I consider myself to be smart, stylish, hardworking and a warm friendly individual, who is able to meet all kinds of challenges set out before me and still smile at the end of it.

I have liaised with people at all levels and so nothing fazes me.

Attention to detail is paramount as is also the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

With this is mind, I feel competent enough as to apply and would welcome the opportunity to come in and have a chat.

I trust that you will find my details to your liking and will look forward to hearing from you soon.

Regards

    • It’s a lovely place to live.  If you are worried and want to compare with other areas from a crime perspective the stats are available online:  https://www.police.uk/pu/your-area/metropolitan-police-service/performance/compare-your-area/?tc=E05009317 Good luck!
    • There's been a spate of phone snatching around East Dulwich station and along Lordship Lane. But don't let that put you off the area, these things come and go. I've never had an issue late at night in the areas you talk about and I've been around here for 18yrs (before I moved I had the same concerns as you). Go visit your areas late at night at different times for your own peace of mind (I did)
    • Posted September 20, 202Hello all Hello all Just a quick message to say I've just had a job postponed so I have some time available to do some work for you if you should need a painter around the end of the month. I also do a variety of other jobs too so if anyone needs a handyman, please feel free to get in touch. Happy to do a free quote. Thanks for reading
    • So sorry to hear this. Our bike was stolen from outside Dulwich Library earlier this month. We had a D Lock and they still got through. Probably the same person who’s just cruising up and down the lane. I hope you find it.
