Alan Medic
If you don't see any differences between the sexes you are more likely to be on Pluto. Nothing to do with one dominating the other. MrBen
Check out the Friday night, alcohol induced froth from the dads above.AM - you should know that it's fairly liberal / PC on here to the extent that some older attitudes to the natures of gender get short shrift. Which is a pity as I think you've raise a very interesting subject. "Reasonable" in the context of pricing goods or services is often totally subjective and based on a particular individuals ingrained attitudes and life experience. Then you have the difference between cost and value?.which many people seem to confuse or misunderstand. When I see those business section posts what most people seem to be saying is " I want someone really good who doesn't charge much" and that's the problem. Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and pay the extra to get good stuff/people/whatever. Salsaboy
In my opinion, you get what you pay for. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/50899-and-at-a-reasonable-price/page/2/#findComment-795044 Share on other sites
Alan Medic
Not always. I paid for a job to be done. It wasn't done as it should have been. I discussed it with the tradesman who made an excuse that what was on his website was out of date and written by his wife (honestly). I suggested a discount which he offered but wasn't acceptable to me. We agreed he finished the job for the original price. So in this case I didn't get what I paid for, originally.
