nixlo
Hi,I have a 9 month old crawling baby and this week have volunteered (possibly stupidly) to look after my half brother and sister who are 11 and 6 on Wednesday and Thursday. A bit nervous about how to keep them all entertained over the 48 hours! Any wise words from those with older kids much appreciated? Where would be a good place to head to - we have a car so could drive a bit out of London? Thanks x Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/50718-tips-for-entertaining-extra-kids/ Share on other sites

savage
How about some time in the skateboard park & Adventure playground on Peckham Rye. BMX bike riding Brockwell park or Burgess park. Track cycling or mountain biking at the Herne Hill Velodrome. Swimming at Deptford wavelength swimming pool which has a couple of flumes. Visit to the Southbank, always plenty going on. edanna
Depends on the weather of course. Greenwich could be good - park and Maritime Museum suitable for a range of ages. keane
Your combo of kids are approx same age as my 3 & one London day out that seems to suit allOf them is 176 bus to Waterloo then a walk along southbank where there is plenty to see for all of them, lunch in a wagamama or similar near Foyles books & a look at what's on in the royal festivalHall, gallery space etc. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/50718-tips-for-entertaining-extra-kids/#findComment-794132 Share on other sites
