Hi all,

we are co-hosting a Tweet Chat today with the Maudsley's Mother & Baby Unit on the topic of Post Natal Depression - but covering things like antenatal depression, PND in dads, psychosis, and lots more. It's a good chance to ask a specialist nurse your questions, but also to share experiences and advice - there is a whole family of PND survivors on Twitter and they are very supportive.

A bit about us/our involvement: we are an association of Brixton cultural organisations (www.brixtonlive.com) , and we've had a focus on mental health this month because of World Mental Health Day last week - a lot of our partners run events themed on mental health issues. Because we run, for example, events at Brixton Library for parents and toddlers, we've picked up on PND being a big issue too. Having a renowned hospital like the Maudsley on our doorstep it made sense to team up and try to help people not just in Brixton and South London, but beyond. We hope to have an inspiring and informative chat, and we hope some of you can join us. If you search #PND or go to @MaudsleyNHS and @BrixtonLive, you'll find the chat.

Thanks!

Yes, some things have gone that I loved to use, but if you take a bit of time and are game to try new things, it’s got a lot to offer. At the end of the month we will have an accompanying app that shows you how to use what they have safely a measure progress. I’ve seen the same people as before of all ages and abilities. Don’t write it off out of hand. It’s an amazing resource that many other boroughs would be proud to have
