SeanMacGabhann
I've never shaken off my childhood support for Celtic and am really looking forward to this tieBut having comfortably beaten Rangers recently, and with Celtic's defence lacking in pace, realistically it would be a massive shock if Arsenal didn't go through, If it wasn't "Celtic" but an equivelantly stocked team from Greece, everyone would be saying Arsenal got an easy tie Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/5028-on-the-ball-new-football-focus/page/142/#findComment-235099 Share on other sites

matthew123
I suspect Arsenal will run Celtic off the park in Glasgow and rattle up a scoreline so it's done and dusted before returning back to London. I just don't think Celtic have any good players - I doubt a single one of them could hold down a place at a top club in the Premiership.. and if they could what are they doing playing in the SPL! It's a shame really but only hope I see for Celtic is to grow the grass long and waterlog the pitch the night before the game! Nevertheless I shall be cheering on the Scots. And I think Matthew has explained the gold star thing to you. Let's have the banter after we've got rid of you as being surplus to requirements in the Champs League and then we'll see if you're still as playful and comic, that's if you ever were in the first place. Mick Mac
Hello BBWNo real stories I'm afraid - just a good time - a real good break with the kids. I'm afraid, we are into simple holidays in France, self catering/camping combinations, which the kids love. Does leave you drained though, lots of driving etc, putting up tents packing unpacking. KIds don't know there born these days. Having said that highlights of the holiday were all outside France:1) Rip van Winkle winning Sussex Stakes :)2) Celtic beating Dynamo Moscow :)-D3) Celtic pulling a minnow in the Ch league play off draw B)4) Matt123 posting about noone on the Celtic team getting a game for a premiership club - I've just seen that one and its mothers milk to me to see a post like that - let me at him. (!)I suspect Arsenal will run Celtic off the park in Glasgow and rattle up a scoreline so it's done and dusted before returning back to London. CELTIC HAVE WON 25 OF 35 HOME EUROPEAN MATCHES SINCE 2001 - LOSING ONLY TWICE. A tribute to Celtics home record in the Champions LeagueThe thought that Arsenal will run Celtic off he park where the following have all lost is laughable: Losers are Parkhead since 2001:Lyon, Juventus, Porto, Benfica, Barcelona, Manchester United, Stuttgart, Valencia, AC Milan. (oh and Liverpool at Anfield). And all this with a team of players that could not get a game in the premiership - suggest you make use of the edit button Matt, your credibility is at stake.... I think Celtic have a fair few good players though and I hope this comes to everyone's attention soon. The defence is stronger than last year, but I agree its a bit weak but Arsenal will get a bit of a surprise with the strength and pace elsewhere. Arshavin is the most talented player of the 2 teams, and I would be worried about him (lots). red devil
A like a man who keeps his promise...Atletico Madrid striker Diego Forlan has promised to score against Liverpool to night-and dedicate the goal to his former club Manchester United."I know the special rivalry between Man United and Liverpool and how much it would mean to United supporters, who have always been very good to me," said Forlan. "I would love to score against Liverpool..."I am sure it would also please people at Old Trafford because of the relationship between the clubs."Cue Diego firing a corker into the Kop goal last night, brought back all those happy memories of Dozey Dudek...Scorchio...
