Pensioner in distress on Lordship Lane

Just popped out of William Hills opp Iceland about 5.30 tonight with my winnings, to be confronted by an old lady having what appeared to be a serious nose bleed.

Two chaps were assisting her and had confirmed that an ambulance had been called. There was a fair amount of blood on the pavement.

A chair was provided by the staff at Winkworths Estate Agents, and the LAS arrived in next to no time.

Just another vignette from life on the lane, but well done to the two gentlemen, and Winkworths.

I saw that blood (a lot of it) when I got off the bus and assumed random violence...hope she was ok

You see, estate agents are not all bad. Oliver from Winkworth seesm to be a local celebrity - my wife and the other mums seems to like him, a lot. Winkworth are a good crowd.
