Hello not sure if I'm in the right place but I'm a mum of a 6 month old baby girl living in dulwich I'm looking for meet ups or activities that I can go to being a very quiet independent person I don't get out much and becoming quite fed up and down of being stuck in the same routine day in day out just want some new friends to meet and have a decent chat with and for my little one to socialise.

This playgroup is in camberwell rather than east dulwich but I found it a real help when my first baby and started going when he was 6 months & have since been back with all of my 3. It's called little fishes & is in the church hall on camberwell grove, you can get a bus (185,176,40) up the hill & get off by dog kennel hill school & walk down & it's on on Wednesday mornings from 1015-1145, there is a nice baby area & a cup of tea for adults & juice & biscuit for children as they get a little older. In the early days when I was at home with first baby I found it helped me get a little bit of structure into my week in those first few months when all is a bit confusing!

Hiya,

if you like a structured type of class, we loved going to sing&sign (http://www.singandsign.com/classes/classes-near-you/southwark-and-lambeth) and made good friends. ED tots website (http://www.edtots.co.uk/) has lots of other things on - hopefully you find something you like!

There's also lots of rhymetimes at local libraries (e dul and the one opposite the library) which are free and usually v well attended . If you go along to the free classes it is often the case that you have to crack a smile to a total stranger but conversation does usually flow from there. Good luck and you'll be fab.

    • I didn't say anything was "a fact". I said it was "hardly likely" 🙄 Do you seriously think someone would go out of their way to harm or kill an unusual animal? Even assuming they ever actually saw it? And then you deleted your post. Did you not want people to see what you had said?
    • If people were diligent about not leaving food items out where it is accessible, then we wouldn't have as big a fox problem. Foxes raid trash bins for food and leave rubbish strewn on the pavement.  Other European cities have strict rules on disposal of edibles and they dont have a fox problem
