Robert Poste's Child
A leaflet came through the door today and it looked quite appealing. The concept seems to be Cook meets Abel & Cole (the leaflet could have been mistaken for either) - you choose one of their recipes online, then they deliver a box of all the ingredients you need to make it (organic, of course). They claim the cost is on a par with supermarket ready meals. Has anyone tried it? I'd be interested to hear other people's experiences. cella
I ordered via an offer with KGB deals. It was fab - everything was fresh and they provided every ingredient down to 3 garlic cloves. It was also exciting opening the box - like a big present. The recipe instruction cards are clear so you can't go wrong and can keep to replicate the meals. They are a little expensive to order normally but I would definitely order again if the offer reappears! Pickle
Sounds similar to Hello Fresh, which I've used in the past when I had a week at home alone. All ingredients and recipe cards included, ingredients were fresh and meals easy to put together. Not expensive for what it is, and I had a voucher code which cut the price by 50%. Hobbes
We tried them awhile back and really enjoyed trying recipes that didnt normally cook and helped with cooking too much food as it is all portioned. Their recipe for the butter beans side that came with their pork loin recipe I do a few times a month with various fish and meat dishes. Found gousto much better than the Able and Cole recipes they recently started doing and like the fact you have a couple of choices to pick from each week.
