The Little Disco Company is back and this time we are in East Dulwich! Join us for our cool day time disco for families with under 7s, upstairs at East Dulwich?s favourite pub - the East Dulwich Tavern. A fun and entertaining afternoon for you to enjoy together as a family.

Go crazy swirling and twirling your little ones around the dance floor and show them how you get down to the latest pop tunes and those retro disco classics that you love to dance to (go on, admit it!)

If you're a bit rusty and need a warm up before you really show the kids how it?s done then the licensed bar will provide you with a little help. Have a drink and socialise with the other big kids while you watch the little kids go crazy on the dance floor from a safe distance. It has also proven to be a great meet up place for small groups of friends, why not come early for a bite to eat, the pub is open from 12pm and does a great Sunday roast and they are very child friendly with a family seating area to one side of the pub.

As well as our live DJ playing dance floor fillers and kids favourites there will be other boredom busting activities such as balloons, bubbles, games, competitions and prizes to give away, as well as child friendly drinks and snacks on offer to complete this fun packed afternoon.

Easily reachable by public transport, a 5 minute walk from East Dulwich train station, and numerous buses pass through East Dulwich to most of central and south London.

    • Anyone know what the V7 local is turning into? Saw some guys painting it a teal colour last night which made me think it’s probably turning into another Truepennys haha - hopefully something more interesting
    • I agree with Sue here, but it is reasonable to raise a concern - there have been incidents of mass poisoning (from restaurants and cafes, supermarkets and food sellers such as butchers and fishmongers) where early warning (or a lack of it) has had a significant impact. But where this concern has been reasonably raised, but then discovered to be likely misplaced, it is a good thing to obfuscate the retailer identity. Of course, by removing the specificity, this might get later readers to worry that other ice-cream outlets locally were being implicated! Bit of a lose-lose situation really!
    • Yes, even  just the thread title will stick in people's minds, with the specific cafe mentioned. And they will see it every time they look at the list of threads in this section of the forum. It might be a good idea to change it to remove the cafe name and say something like "a local cafe"?
    • Our son really doesn't interact with others much and very rarely gets out, but when he does, an ice cream at the cafe is a favourite treat (even when it's freezing outside). Like yours, it's a single-person data point - in our case, no illness. Bugs can come from anything/anyone - other people are far more likely to be the unwitting carriers, in my view. Having gone there for years and years, never had a concern re the ice cream. And generally do worry about linking an establishment with illness/standards, even as a question as, even subconsciously, the association may stick in people's minds (and if they stop the ice cream, we'll be devastated!).
