Nutfield-coven
Hi allI'm giving women drivers a bad name, since I haven't run my car in a few weeks and just as my Dad predicted - I now have a flat battery.Does anyone have any jump leads please? I'm on Nutfield Road. Thanks! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/49248-silly-girl-car-has-a-flat-battery-can-you-help/ Share on other sites
Sue
Can't help with the jump leads, but maybe you need a new battery?I wouldn't have thought it should run down after just a few weeks of non-use?I don't use my car sometimes for weeks at a time, but it always starts :)If you're in a rescue service with HomeStart or equivalent, they will come and recharge the battery for you with a super-speedy charger, to save you driving around to charge it up once you've used the jump leads ......ETA: I don't think your problem has anything to do with your gender, btw .... Jeremy
How old is the battery? If it's much over five yrs old, might be time for a replacement.
