Silly girl - car has a flat battery, can you help?!

Hi all

I'm giving women drivers a bad name, since I haven't run my car in a few weeks and just as my Dad predicted - I now have a flat battery.

Does anyone have any jump leads please? I'm on Nutfield Road.

Can't help with the jump leads, but maybe you need a new battery?

I wouldn't have thought it should run down after just a few weeks of non-use?

I don't use my car sometimes for weeks at a time, but it always starts :)

If you're in a rescue service with HomeStart or equivalent, they will come and recharge the battery for you with a super-speedy charger, to save you driving around to charge it up once you've used the jump leads ......

ETA: I don't think your problem has anything to do with your gender, btw ....

How old is the battery? If it's much over five yrs old, might be time for a replacement.
