It's Edinburgh, I believe, though looking at most maps I'd be inclined to say Cardiff.


Something to do with maps being flat and not representing longitude & latitude correctly (please forgive my laymans terms).


I love the rehashing of the article(s) that shows the 'true' size of countries and continents against what's represented on most maps.

the standard 'upright' representation is at quite a slant as you can see.




still looks like cardiff pips it on that map, though google he say no

3.1833? W vs 3.1889? W


Though i guess as cardiff is further south that would make it further west in terms of physical distance from 0, he said pedantically.
