Sue
I tried to find someone before with no success, trying once more before I bin the ******* thing!I was persuaded to buy this (very expensive) model by John Lewis, it has mostly appalling customer reviews (sadly only posted after I bought it), and it's been sitting unused in a cupboard since it broke some years back.I'm presently de-cluttering, and this is a last-ditch attempt to get it sorted. The iron heats up, the water heats up, it all makes steam generator noises, but the iron no longer steams. Yes it has been de-calced which was obviously the first thing I tried. I think the steam switch on the iron is broken. Parts are available cheaply online but I can't see any way to get into the iron!!!It's a Stirella "No Problem" (hollow laugh) SX8040D Simac. The company went bust after I bought it (no connection I think) and was taken over by DeLonghi.
