Alan Medic
Feeding the various ducks and geese in the pond on Sunday brought about a hive of excitement as pieces of bread were thrown towards them. Many chose to exit the water in the hope of increasing their chances of a bit of scran. One chap however was totally untrained and chose to go through the railings onto the path. I was about to report this to the Park Keeper when thankfully someone's pet hound, gratefully off the leash and unconcerned by the prospect of a ?100 fine, started to chase and then bite the duck. This caused some consternation for the duck as it appeared he was about to meet his Waterloo. Luckily for him the mutt's grip loosened and allowed daffy the chance to slip back through the railings and return from whence he came. I bet the naughty duck wont do that again. Millhaven
Don't think ducks can read. Not sure about dogs either. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/48582-crazy-duck-cheats-death-in-peckham-rye-park/#findComment-778736 Share on other sites
