Knowing what we want and need from our business is an incredibly important foundation for planning our business. Without this step in our planning we risk creating something that will never give us what we want and become trapped in an enterprise that does not work for us.

Business turns on sales. We want them, we need them and most of us have never been trained in them. This seminar is an introduction to the art of selling. Along the way we will be challenging traditional sales training and opening a door to new and more powerful paradigm and way of selling.

Happily it is a way of selling that produces satisfaction for both sides.

Reaction from the recent seminar, 'Understanding your Accounts - the Basics', was generally highly favourable with feedback scoring overall value 8/10.

Comments included:

?The seminar was a useful reminder (and eye-opener)about the cost that some of the routine business tasks can carry in terms of opportunity lost ? I feel motivated to review my overall strategy for developing my business.?

?Very enjoyable and good for the mind. Active brain space.?

?Clear, concise'

    • I have no information on that. I'd imagine GALA would be happy to advise you direct. I am interested to know what happened at the consultation meeting a few days ago and am hoping that someone from FOPRP can share. The concern is that it is proposed to extend the event footprint and timeframe.  If successful, this could set precedent for further extensions and for other events organisers to bid for slots throughout summer, in a scenario similar to what has happened at Brockwell Park. This is not a flight of fancy, Cllr Catherine Rose has stated intention to monetise parkland.
    • I didn't get residents tickets, but have signed up for the early bird release which goes live today at 10:00 am - I haven't received a link or access code though... anyone else?
    • I've done this 3 times recently and they actually respond very quickly to clean the mess
    • There are also really bad pitted holes further up near the school and hospital - mainly in the areas cyclists use near the pavement. I have no idea why the pavement and road surfaces of this road used by so many children walking and cycling to school is so poorly served by whoever is responsible for maintenance.  A note to all the people driving up to the barrier and forced to do a u-ey,  when there are 4 x road closed signs….. maybe the road is closed. Doh!
