Yes, I think it helped soften things up. I think I had 3 sessions.


Problem is you can never know whether you would have gone into labour anyway!!! In any case it also helped massively with pain relief during my labour, so I would recommend you go for it. (If you want to use for pain relief your birth partner will need to cone and learn the points.)

I trained in maternity reflexology and though I think it's a wonderful effective treatment for all sorts if health issues, but really, baby comes when it is ready. In such cases Reflexology helps to ease any stress and anxiety about giving birth, which in itself can delay the process. It is beneficial, but not does not always induce labour.
