Me in the queue for 40 minutes talking to some really nice people behind me. Thought about the coffee and soup that the girls form luca were offering but got on with it. Lots of good cheer from everyone around me and a christmas feel at large.

So all good from my point of view. But the queue as a phenomenon is interesting. Supply not meeting demand. Hell the queuet at sparkes was bad as well. Lidl is well and good cwald but ill take the taste test any day. And besides are there really no queues there today ?

Would you believe - It was Louisa.

All that guff about poncey local produce and all the time she's more than happy to spend two hours queueing for half a pound of organic chiplolatas.

I had thought I was writing of my own experiences in Underhill Road but obviously I don't know my own streets. When the men I watch tip rubbish into their lorries they do not seem to spill out into the road, but obviously my eyes aren't good enough to see this.
    • It was around New Year 2023; I had walked my dog past the exact spot late that evening before it happened. There were a lot of cars in Straker's Road that night playing loud music. "Roadmen" Alice. We all know who they are but you are daring, through the use of public shaming and ostracism, people to declare something you already know. Tut tut Alice, white boys also affect a Roadman persona. There was a statistic I read on a council advert at a bus stop in Lambeth, it said "99% of young people in Lambeth have never been in trouble with the police". We all know 99% of the 1% are Roadmen so lets not pretend any further.
    • “Peckham rye is a very safe place to be” was someone not murdered for a phone a few years back, also daily muggings happening at the park if you look outside of you bubble
    • Is that your comment; people shouldn't overfill their bins? Nobody does. All those bins had lids closed. The problem is when they open them and the bin tips into the lorry and half a dozen pieces of litter fall to the floor. Are you actually denying photographic evidence?
