Ma
Cant the Forum Developer change this Forum design so that the newest message is at the top. It quite tedious (or perhaps I am lazy) to scroll down and down the thread for the new message;-) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/477-new-messages-first-in-the-forum-room/ Share on other sites
Michael Palaeologus
Isnt that what it does? Brand new threads start at the top - and only get knocked off the top when another thread is added to by somebody. Seems to work. Ma
Oh, I am talking about when some is replying to a message. The new message falls beneath. I want it to go to the top Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/477-new-messages-first-in-the-forum-room/#findComment-10454 Share on other sites
sid
Ma,If the new ones were at the top, you would never read the thread and maybe miss the point of the thread. mockney piers
The old 'top posting' debate! The arguments for and against are equally persuasive. It really boils down to what people are accustomed to, and stylistics. If it helps you'll notice those 'new' links on threads. If you click them it'll take you straight to the first unread-by-you post in the thread and you can carry on reading down from there. Very useful I find. cokeycat
Found - Black & White cat - similar to "Felix cat" on tins. A stressed & fretting cat was found in Lacon Road SE22 on Saturday 5th May 2007. It is clearly a well looked after cat as it is very affectionate. Please help me reunite it with its owner.
