Keef
I would like to make jam in 2009.Seeing this made me think of New Years Resolutions, and how we all have good intentions and plans for the coming year, and how more often than not, we have forgotten them come February! This year I am going to try and make a couple of new years resolutions, that I actually want to keep (very important), and stand a chance of doing. So, I'm not going to say I'll give up smoking, because I know I won't, and I really don't want to, even if it would be wise for several reasons. So come on, have you been thinking about any NYRs, or have you made any in the past which you've stuck to, or failed at miserably? Jah Lush
The only New Year's resolution that I've ever stuck to was when I gave up making New Year's resolutions ten years ago. ChavWivaLawDegree
I might try to give up swearing - effing and blinding in a solicitors office is not always well received! david_carnell
I fancy starting smoking. I think 25 seems a good age to try. Mmm, a pipe I think. Anyone got an estate briar they'd care to pass on? And some choice cherry-scented Virginia shag. I might give it up at Lent though. indiepanda
I am bound to make loads of resolutions, hoping to become some kind of super fit, glamourous, totally organised person... and then end up as the year goes on settling for trying not to end up any fatter at the end than I was at the start of the year and not forgetting too many important birthdays etc... I do like that clean sheet feeling at the start of a new year though, always feels full of potential.
