Earl Aelfheah
Maybe they are cockney, office-based aliens out shopping for a 'Peckham Rye'? It would also explain why they were flying 'round the houses'.... The probing referenced above a disastrous attempt to buy a shirt. Louisa
Alien abductions are nothing new in this area of London. I personally have only ever seen things hovering, although I did once wake up in a bush over at Nunhead Cemetery, and for days after didn't know how I ended up there. Louisa. handymaneast dulwich
A woman at a petrol station noticed a spaceship landing in front of her. An alien stepped out of the spaceship and started to pump gas into it. The woman noticed the letters ''U.F.O.'' printed on the side of the ship. She turned to the alien and asked ''Does U.F.O. stand for Unidentified Flying Object?'' The alien answered, ''No, it stands for Unleaded Fuel Only!'' Louisa
Otta I can't tell if I had been probed or not, but I had stinging nettle scratches all over me and my hair was a mess. I was a bit of a p@?? artist back in the day so it could have been just me going off on a bit of a beano. However, my friend who was abducted by the yellow light told me that these creatures can wipe your memory clear after they've played about with you in their ship. Who knows, I may have been probed after all. Louisa. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/47434-ufo/page/2/#findComment-770130 Share on other sites

Greenr perhaps? The problem with this post is you imagine aliens think like you. They probably have a way of thinking completely alien to you. If you were to walk across a trail of ants and stopped to pick your nose, do you think the ants would wonder why you bothered them? They might but you might be blissfully unaware of them or not as the case may be. Either way it wouldn't matter. El Pibe
of course, I was poking fun.But intellignece and technological achievement at the very least imply two things, an understanding of cause and effect and picturing goals to achieve. This means that there's some point to crpossing the universe, hanging about above peckham rye for a bit, then going elsewhere. However alien their thinking it seems a bit of a waste of time.I'd get it more if we were detroyed for an intestellar bypass without bothering to tell us.... loni
I'm amazed someone else remembers the UFO in Waverley upper,I have a hazy recollection of it (perhaps we aren't supposed to be able to remember it) was it about 1977/78.I also remember the adults ushering us in but truly cannot recall ever having a conversation about it.Im glad somebody else has spoken about it as I thought I may have imagined it as I was 12 or 13 at the time. Laur
loni: I too am amazed that someone else remembers it as the person I was with all those years ago vaguely remembers it but doesn't recollect it as clearly as me! I'm not sure of the year, it could have been post 77 or 78 and the other thing it was in the evening (maybe the workers that came rushing out where to do with a post school club/youth club)??? loni
Hi Laur, how bizarre,it possibly could have been 76/77 but I thought it was late afternoon playtime although it may have visited before.I find it incredible that no,one else has mentioned this and I do see quite a few people who would possibly have been there at the time.Maybe only certain people see them like ghosts or children who are often disbelieved, personally I've never said as I feel people think you are making it up.note that the person who started this thread admitted to having a few pints, also the people in America who talk about abduction are ridiculed and perhaps that's why no,one with any sense talks about it. I am actually quite sceptical and a sensible person. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/47434-ufo/page/2/#findComment-771047 Share on other sites
