Any tips on how to remove turmeric stain?

Dining room chair with pale fabric covered seat has a nice yellow stain on it, now dried. Help..........It's in a house we were visiting and the owners (nephew and wife) are away in Brazil.

AM, I had this problem with a pair of jeans a few years back and just could not get rid. Still there to this day and now only use them for gardening. I was told way back when that it used to be used as a dye for fabrics, hence is impossible to remove. Like yourself, would be interested if anyone does know otherewise.

Spray loads of vanish on it!!

Leave it in direct sunlight for a few days - lots of stains disappear this way: lily pollen, baby poo (all incidentally yellow!). I've not had to try with turmeric but you never know...

Dye the whole thing yellow and convince them it was always that way.

Sorry for the delay in thanking you for all your suggestions. I've been busy trying to source a replacement for the glass topped garden table we broke.........
