bignumber5
Quote Now where are the photos that Outoffocus took? Does he manage to tag people in them? It would help no end!!!He'll post a link to his flickr page once he's uploaded them, if usual form is followed. No tagging, though, allows for a bit of anonymity (plus maybe coaxing more people to future drinks if they really want to know who's who ;-)) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/4718-edf-drinks-at-the-phoenix-this-friday-9th-january/page/6/#findComment-157929 Share on other sites
Gen17
Yes, I can see the benefits of not tagging. People should be encouraged to come along to figure out who's who.Don't know if I was going about it the wrong way - but I concentrated on learning real names and although I remember a few of the screen names too, I am now a bit lost. I definitely spoke to more people than the screen names I recognise. But I suppose it all adds to the fun! Don't be offended if I don't seem to remember you just from your screen names...:-$ Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/4718-edf-drinks-at-the-phoenix-this-friday-9th-january/page/6/#findComment-157943 Share on other sites
SeanMacGabhann
Gen17 - it's a perennial problem. People have become genuine, day-to-day bona-fide friends and after a year they still instinctively call each other by forum names Names-schmames - if you meet people and look forward to seeing them again then that;s the main thing I reckon.Glad you enjoyed it so much Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/4718-edf-drinks-at-the-phoenix-this-friday-9th-january/page/6/#findComment-157948 Share on other sites
TillieTrotter
Just about recovered now as Steph and myself decided it was a great idea to stay up chatting and drinking brandy until....oooh....sixish:-$. Sorry for being so predictable and talking about kids Quids. I really must get another dimension to my life!! ????
Nahh, don't apologise - Kids is cool innit. I could only talk about football, gambling and the economy before my kids came along. anthonyjp
Twas indeed a great evening - even worth missing eviction night for - and the perfect pub for it. Thought I'd been sensible on the drink front but head said otherwise. Thanks to whoever organised it. Now back to radio silence....
