SeanMacGabhann
Jimmy Carr gets a bad rap - I wish he wouldn't hawk himself around TV so much but there is a fine wit at work in his material when I've seen him liveAlso, away from the stage he is genuinely self-effacing and not at all the smug git he portrays Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/471-alan-carr-filming-on-peckham-rye/page/2/#findComment-15780 Share on other sites
dulwichmum
Yes indeed Mr MacGabhann. I must admit that I am a complete air head and only agreed to go and see Alan Carr on Saturday night as I thought he was in fact Mr Jimmy Carr (who I have a dreadful crush on). He is simply the most attractive scamp!!! Before hand in the VIP bar, I was crushed when I realised, not crushed enough to leave though. Ho hum, the free champagne was good...I wonder if Mr Batdog looks like Jimmy Carr?Indeed, I have seen Jimmy Carr in the past, and he has caused me to roll around the floor laughing. Or was that Eddie Izzard?DM Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/471-alan-carr-filming-on-peckham-rye/page/2/#findComment-15808 Share on other sites
SeanMacGabhann
And as we know, in a previous life Jimmy Carr was Lloyd Cole Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/471-alan-carr-filming-on-peckham-rye/page/2/#findComment-15810 Share on other sites
chichirara
I saw him filming. It involved him flashing 'unsuspecting people' on a bench by the roundabout gate. I managed to take a sneaky photo and on closer examination he was, thankfully wearing pants!
