Reluctantly I need to find a loving home for Dusty, my two year old cat. I live on East Dulwich Grove and Dusty is being terrorised constantly by a bengal tom cat. I have tried electronic cat flaps which have been broken by the tom cat attempting to gain entry at night. Dusty is a lovely friendly neutered young cat who deserves a happier life out of the range of the local bully. Picture can be sent to your email account, can't seem to upload it here.

I've been having same problem with an an unneutered cat terrorising my cats for the past 8 months. Finally found the owner with help of posters and hopefully will get his cat neutered.

In the meantime I have to lock my cats in during the night. Two of them are home cats anyway but one likes to go out all the time but has been constantly attacked and now is scared to go out day or night.

Your cat is very young. Re-homing would be more traumatic for her.

Hmm, if you can document the offending cat's repeated behaviour and your attempts to reconcile the situation with the owner, can the owner's behaviour be reported as antisocial? Perhaps your Neighbourhood Team would be able to advise further, or an animal welfare group? An unneutered tom's behaviour can be seen as putting the cat himself at risk. The owners are being antisocial AND irresponsible.
