James Barber
Still going to be a new Grove Vale public library. My understanding was Ivan Bateman had sold the development on some time ago. James Barber
Hi I'm watching you I B,Sorry I haven't a clue. A ?3 search of HM Land Registry would give it away but I've spent quite a bit with HMLR recently doing casework - so reticent to spend more. worldwiser
A ?0 glance at the sign outside the development would confirm the replacement library is still on. edhistory
> A ?0 glance at the sign outside the development would confirm the replacement library is still on.How does that work?At this stage I'd be more interested in the Land Registry record for the existing Grove Vale Library. worldwiser
I mean if you look at the sign on the development it confirms exactly what's being built and it includes a library! chazzle
Northridge Capital now own the site.It appears that St Aidan's have now 'moved' to the Isle of Man. They started in the City, moved to the Channel Islands (Jersey, IIRC), now there's a new one registered to IoM https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/officers/5jbca9eICEp5sgD4Azz4n-np5sg/appointments.Each time the previous company is dissolved. bels123
Does anyone know which are the latest approved plans? I'm looking on Southwark's planning website and I'm baffled by the number of submissions. chazzle
Northridge Capital have put in a proposal (17/AP/2178) to further increase the size of the new block at 18-22 Grove Vale (the former garden centre.) This involves extending the penthouse on the fourth level ("third floor") forwards on three sides by around a metre. Although apparently minor, I think it will further increase the dominance of the block as a four storey building with oversight over local roads and residences. Vik
For anyone who may have missed the huge sign by the station entrance, we will indeed be having another M&S....You wait 4 billion years for an M&S and then 2 come along at once... Mick Mac
yes - and it's advertised as a SF rather than a Food Store. So I'm guessing that means its a more restricted offering than the LL one.
