I noticed that the Mag are restarting their Sunday night quiz this Sunday - same time, but different format, different quizmaster. We faithfully followed Pietro down to the Herne so what a connundrum. What to do?

We were regulars at the old Mag quiz and went down to the Herne once. It had nothing like the atmosphere and we did not enjoy.

No sausage & chips and I have to say, although Pietro is a lovely guy, I don't think he was as good as Beeny.

1st prize was all the money that they took as entry money which came to a grand total of ?19 which was pretty strange as there were definitely more people than that taking part. C'mon own up, who didn't pay? 2nd prize was a ?20 food voucher (which we won, having defected for one night only from the Herne quiz). There was also a free round of drinks to the team who got the most right in the first round. It was a good quiz (not as good as the Herne though) and I wish them luck
