Chartwell
Yes, isn't he called Dick Dasterdly and his faithful (or was it not so faitful?) friend was mutterly? mockney piers
Dick Dastardley and Muttley were her rivals, but the hooded claw (above) was her nemesis (the alter ego of her sponsor Sylvester Sneekly)*slamming door as gets coat and tries to get life* Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/466-mum-shocked-by-dogging-exploits-slp-13-april/page/3/#findComment-10779 Share on other sites

mockney piers
Yes, it was my lust for power that started this tangent ;)Threads can be split, but I've been assured that it's not advisable, so I'll happily let this carry on on any tangent anyone deems fit. It's what the lounge was invented for :) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/466-mum-shocked-by-dogging-exploits-slp-13-april/page/3/#findComment-10787 Share on other sites
Keef
Dick Dastardley & Muttley were rivals in Wackey Races, and they were also in Dastardly and Muttley in Their Flying Machines where they were trying to catch the carrier pigeon >:D<However, The perils of panelope pitstop was my fave as a kid (tu) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/466-mum-shocked-by-dogging-exploits-slp-13-april/page/3/#findComment-10790 Share on other sites
Chartwell
I will now be humming 'catch the pigeon, catch the pigeon' all afternoon. I think the Anthill Mob were part of the Wacky races too. I have to confess that some years ago, in a bid to recapture happy childhood memories, I did buy some Penelope Pitstop episodes on video - it's better to stick the memories! I don't remember the animation being as bad as it was! Keef
I did the same thing in buying a Dungeons & Dragons DVD.... It was nice to see it (t'was my favourite thing ever), but as you say, some of the animation was awful.... That said, some of the backdrops were beautifully drawn. Incitatus
Dulwichmum,Since the revelations about your Modish past I'd conjured up an image of the young Leslie Ash in Quadrophenia.OMG I've just remembered, Ray Winstone was in that film but he played a Rocker. DM would you've swapped your Harrington for a biker jacket, for Ray I think you probably would have. She's obviously the star of this Forum after all. mockney piers
Well if we're heading off into fantasy territory I'd have to go Colonel Wilma Dearing off Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, but now I'm getting all self indulgent. And surely noone wears blue spandex any more!;) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/466-mum-shocked-by-dogging-exploits-slp-13-april/page/3/#findComment-10844 Share on other sites
Jah Lush
Pardon me but I was only thinking of the character in the books. I'm sure DM is far more glamourous than Ms Zellweger.
