flanter
A long pose which will be held for the whole session and then for two further weeks so that complex drawings or even paintings can be completed. The Dulwich Art Group is an established and friendly group with all the equipment required to support you in your drawing. We take care over our models too, long poses are demanding for the model so most of ours are dancers or actors who know how to maintain a pose without wriggling. Attending a new life drawing group can be daunting, most of us just want to be left alone to get our bearings so we respect that. However if you want comments about your work they are easy to solicit, we have people of all abilities and approaches. Our Friday group is just starting but we do run sessions on other days too, including occasional masterclasses and educational events. We like the drop-in format and so do most artists, it means you can just turn up if you have the time, no need to book. We have easels, drawing boards and large paper and charcoal at 20p per piece or bring your own materials. Our website is worth a look here http://www.dulwichartgroup.co.uk you'll also find us on Facebook if that's your thing.Wednesdays from 12.00pm until 3.00pm. Thursdays from 7.00pm until 9.00pm Fridays from 1.00pm until 4.00pm Saturdays from 10.00am until 1.00pm. Cost ?12 per session.
