Food served 6-10pm on Friday 20th June

Starting their residency at The Old Nun's Head as part of our new street food rotation, we welcome Kome, joining us every Thursday and Friday evening for over a month.

Kome brings a melting pot of differing cuisine, taking inspiration from LA's diverse mix of cultures from across the globe, with food from countries as diverse as Korea, Mexico, Japan and Peru...each bite whipping up the flavours that explode into the warm night air of LA.

  A starter-free method is to make normal dough, let it rise and then put some aside. Make the remainder into normal bread. Then takethe set-aside dough, add more flour and water but no more yeast, let it rise, set a bit aside and make bread with the remainder. Repeat. Your starter will slowly sour from wild yeasts in your kitchen. I did it this way.
