The Brockley Jack? Isn't it the Brockley Barge or am I getting confused? Anyway, the Brockley Barge is a lovely pub, decent beverages and vittals for a weary traveller, have frequented the place on many an occasion.

People need to remember there are different parts of Brockley. Some of it is lovely with huge houses that haven't been turned in to flats. Had lots of school friends there, and was always rather jealous of their area, being an East Dulwich boy.

Why not ask your friend to prove his 250k salary by purchasing a house in east dulwich. Then, like the rest of us the mortgage may prevent him venturing to the butchers/deli for any further poor treatment.
