FUDGE... chocolate, vanilla...

I'm planning on trying to make fudge for Christmas presents this year - assuming it doesn't turn into goo, does anyone know how long it lasts? can i start now?!...

Found something which says fudge will keep up to a month in an air tight container, the higher the sugar content the longer it'll keep. Baring in mind your fudge recipients probably aren't going to scoff the lot on Christmas Day (or maybe they will?), I'd leave it until a couple of weeks before Christmas
