smashing
Can anyone recommend a place to get consistently good coffee? I'm thinking latte of European or Australian quality - had one this morning in Blackbird Bakery that was so milky I had to bin it. I've had ok ones in there before though. el_fed
I've always enjoy the coffee from ToastED. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/45480-decent-coffee-in-east-dulwich/#findComment-754758 Share on other sites
mrs.lotte
Had a very nice coffee in French House today (and a rather yummy lavender biscuit on the side) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/45480-decent-coffee-in-east-dulwich/#findComment-754877 Share on other sites
Mustard
I had a good coffee at The General Store last week. It was an Americano, no milk, ?2. Think they only do takeway cups. Their coffees with milk were more money. What's up with places charging more for coffee with milk? It seems to be a newish trend. But, I think Anderson's have now raised the price of their black coffee to the same for coffee with milk.I also like the coffee at the cafe/deli in Nunhead that begins with a B, next to the fishmongers. adsyb99
Unfortunately not. You'll need to head to Peckham (Anderson, General Store, Viva, Cafe 67) or to Nunhead (Dish and Spoon or Bambuni) or Forest Hill (St David). As mentioned above, Toasted is probably the best in ED but all the other places I've mentioned do better coffee. Haven't tried french house yet, but square mile beans and the the big la marzocco look promising. cle
Daily Goods Coffee is opening in Camberwell (Church St). It used to be installed in that fancy bike shop in Golden Square. The area is lacking decent coffee overall though.
