Wanted: recommendations for builder

We are embarking on some building works - for us they are pretty extensive (side return, take out chimneys, new kitchen etc).

Can anyone recommend a builder who is of a good / high standard but yet still reasonable please?

We have some quotes in already but most of these come from builders who are used to working in Clapham, Fulham, Chelsea, Wandsworth and so I just question if they are inflating the cost.

  Well I've done a few naughty things in my life that I am sure would come out If I was in office. Mostly in my younger days. I've grown up slightly since then and have even found my moral compass. Surely most of us have a guilty secret. Don't usually quite the scriptures but he/she without sin throw the first stone

  Yes, to a many I am sure it underlines the difference. But to many it will reinforce the similarity. That is the bigger risk of the two. They will be hoping the Assisted Dying vote drowns out her resignation and that becomes the focus.

  I think Seph is right, the quick resignation is probably more to do with Labour wanting to quickly shut down an issue rather than allowing it to drag out over days/weeks like we had under the previous Gov...
