Hello all,

My husband and I are local filmmakers. We are currently half way through shooting a short film and we need extras for a scene tomorrow. Sorry for the late notice, especially with it being on a bank holiday. But if you are at a loose end and can make it to the EDT in East Dulwich for tomorrow at 11am-2pm. Please do DM me and let me know. Thank you so much for your time.

I was an extra in the Kit-Kat ad for the World Cup. 60 + extras. were used

7.30 - 21.30 14 hours.

Filmed in a Bermondsey pub and at Locations around and inside The Den.

Lot of sitting around. But we were fed and watered all day. Breakfast / Lunch / Tea.

No alcohol allowed, even in the pub scenes.

We all got paid ?50.00 for the day.

You've hit the nail on the head, but not in the way you think.

Big commercial for well known brand vs small, independent film. Of course you got paid.

Yes of course.. I realise that..

But ?50.00 for 14 hours shows it doesn't pay that well. Even with big commercial companies.

"Your weekly tasks should include: ...  Checking the pH levels and adjusting the water balance ... The ideal pH rating of swimming pool water is between 7.0 and 7.6. Anything lower than 7.0 and metals and pool finishes can start to corrode, while anything above 7.8 and there can be issues with scaling due to calcium salts in the water and chlorine becoming ineffective."
