Personal recommendation for painter/decorator/general diy

I have recently had my flat in north Dulwich renovated for selling. If anyone is looking for highly skilled painter/decorator/carpenter/general DIY the man who did the work for me is excellent. If anything he did the work to a higher standard than I required but it did not take anymore time or cost anymore.

He also did basic electrics for me, laid carpet, mended sash windows, replaced glass in windows etc. Currently he is on a job in Camberwell refitting a kitchen but has recently moved to the Dulwich area and is looking for new clients. He is 100% honest and trustworthy, and a very pleasant man, always keen to help out, which I found very refreshing. He also cleans up after his work.

He has also done quite a bit of work at my mother's house in Bromley, including putting up a wire fence to enclose the garden for a new puppy!

If anybody is looking for someone then please contact Rafa on 07450 236340

If anybody wants to check this recommendation then please call me on 07850 285662

    • The guide is being delivered to every household, I believe, mine arrived only today. I think it's basically no change. But they are not requiring people to use compostible bags for kitchen rubbish, presumably not to impose costs on people, but you still can, and the black sack for dry non recyclables I imagine is for those without green bins. Hopefully foxes won't be interested, although they can contain baby and pet waste. I imagine if there was a change they'd make more of it. But kitchen and garden waste are now being collected separately, even though Veolia doesn't have the plant locally to us to process them separately. So it's just for show (by Southwark, not Veolia as it just adds cost to them). Veolia does have anaerobic digesters to process kitchen waste into fuel at some of their UK sites. But I think for London it's all just composted.

    • Hey - I can see that you're selling a lot of items - the preferred rule here is to put them all on one post rather than individual ones. From Forum Rules section: "If you have a big list of similar items to sell at once (e.g. a garage sale) then please put them all in one thread. Do not create more than 3 topics per day per account."
