Moos
Nice segue there from sweets to booze - is it Christmas morning yet?We had a great Halloween! Lots of visitors, starting with very sweet small witches and devils accompanied by their parents, and as the evening wore on graduated to older and cheekier skeletons and werewolves who were fun to banter with. Michael Palaeologus and the Moosling in their matching outfits were also very cute, although one of them was a bit scared of the werewolf and clung on very tightly until he went away. If you missed out on visitors, try displaying a pumpkin next year - apparently it's a recognised 'sign' meaning that trick-or-treaters are welcome. huncamunca
Rather late on the thread but round here, people who welcome trick or treaters put lit pumpkins outside the houses. Children only knock on those doors. Stops unwanted callers and keeps the kids happy!! I thought this was what happened everywhere in ED..........
