lilolil
Trying to find out if this company can enforce a parking fine on a vehicle that was supposedly parked for 16 minutes in Harlesden Car Park? The letter says they do not know who the driver of the car was so have sent the fine to the registered keeper and ask for the driver's name and address.Just want to know if they can do this and if the fine is legal as I have been told that they are unable to enforce a fine on a vehicle parked on private land. Thanks! Salsaboy
If the ticket hasn't been issued under the Road Traffic Act, it is effectively an invoice. Ignore it. It'll cost them more to chase it than it's worth. Or you could send them a cheque for a nominal sum, say 10p in full and final settlement.
