the-e-dealer
They will take up to 15 items free a month. !So I put in a request to take a Fridge Freezer, Heater and Carpet.Funny question came back. How many carpets?I replied 1 12ft by 12ft. They rang me. Our vans wont take objects taller than 10ft. I took a deep breath and said ITS ROLLED UP. "oh" said the relieved waste man then I think we can take it. Well it was ok to laugh at Manuel so hope its al right!Oh yes it is a great service many boroughs charge and have much stricter limits. Help-Ma-Boab
If you roll a 12x12 carpet up, into a tube shape say. Stand it on one end, would it not be taller than 10ft though? Mustard
I don't understand why you posted this, as it seems you are making fun of someone at Southwark who wasn't perhaps very good at maths, and you appeared to have got one over on him. Why not say that you will fold it in half and then it will be approximately 6 ft.
