KalamityKel Posted June 1, 2014 Share Posted June 1, 2014 Do be careful not to get too carried away with your trimming and be mindful for possible nests WITH babies within the "bush"Neighbours recently practically destroyed their annoying monstrosity of a shrub and completely ignored the blackbirds dive bombing them as they disturbed/destroyed an established nest. Was quite sad watching the parents of the destroyed nest continuing to fly around after the incident occurred in search of any survivors. Is the answer to cut right back back earlier in the year so any further trimming isn't likely to be as radical and therefore disturbing?
