YOGA WEEKEND WORKSHOP 21/22 June

The theme is "Exploring the Chakra System" and will be run by Janet Evans and Chrissie Cunningham. Details attached.

The course aims to enhance and deepen your yoga practice and offer a practical and informative guide for everyday living.....Ancient wisdom for modern living.

Janet has been a Viniyoga teacher for nearly 20 years and her approach to the chakra system will be from a purely yoga perspective, whereas Chrissie comes from a Chinese Medicine/Kabbalah background and adds different layers referring to various ancient Eastern and Western traditions.

As well as sharing the teachings on each chakra we shall be teaching yoga practice related to each chakra, including postures, beathing techniques, sounds, meditation and visualisation.

We can issue a certificate of attendance as this course will count as CPD for the BWY (Janet is an IST teacher) and other professional organisations.

The course will be held at Goose Green Clinic in East Dulwich and will cost ?150. A ?50 deposit is required to secure your place, the rest payable by/at the start of the course. You get an early bird discount of ?25 if you pay in full by 17 May 2014.

    • There wasn’t a lot to it.  Pick a pub that’s likely to have space on the evening - ask the pub can we reserve the tables. Post date and time in here  it did grow to some quite big evenings.  But those early meet-ups were only 5 or 6 people. It grew from there  if it’s a date I can be in London I might try and get along
    • It's a tough one but I do think if the council provide the bins we should use them. We all should be doing our bit.
    • Great! I can't say there has been a vast number of interested people so far. Maybe it's a case of "if we build it they will come", as it were. We will get on the case and try to find a suitable pub  venue, and then a date. But I have a feeling the pub will want to be sure there will be a reasonable number of people there buying drinks, if we are booking a room, and at present I don't think we can give them that guarantee. Does anybody know how the people who organised it (I think Georgia was one?) did it before? Please PM me if you would rather not post it on here, thanks.
    • Thank you, I’ll take a look
