Bank holiday screen printing and intergalactic themed crafts for the whole family!

Recommended Posts

Nimble Arts holiday club is back for the next May bank holiday Monday! We're joined by Lou from East Dulwich's own Captured in the Rye for screen printing space themed t-shirts in the morning, and in the afternoon we'll be doing quick fire intergalactic crafts (making a rocket that flies, a recycled robot and some inplanetary mobiles!)

As it's a bank holiday, for this day only we're inviting the whole family to come and join in either for the full or half day - adults (16+) go free and older and younger siblings are welcome to accompany family groups (but can still take part!), so it's a chance to come and get crafty together :D

You can join us either for the full or half day, and there's free early drop off/extended pick up available. Timings are:

8.30 - 10.00: Drop off (we'll have books, games, chill out and craft activities ongoing...and if there's enough of us we can even try some parachute games!)

MORNING (10-12.30): Welcome sessions and then t-shirt screen printing with the brilliant Lou from Captured on the Rye

AFTERNOON (13.30 ? 16.00, pick up until 17.00): Quick fire crafts ? Make a rocket that flies, an intergalactic mobile AND a recycled robot!

16.00 - 17.00: Free extended pick up

Children aged 5-11 can be dropped off for the full or half day, and parents/carers/adult family members can come and join in for free!

Full day: ?45 (siblings ?37)

Half day: ?22 (siblings ?18)

Discounts if you attend multiple days. Go to www.nimblearts.co.uk or email [email protected] to book your place - if booking for the half day, please email (and likewise just let us know if family members will be attending and we'll make sure we've got enough materials!)

Find out more about Nimble Arts at www.nimblearts.co.uk - if you're looking for half term activities for 5-11 year olds we have a few spaces remaining for our other holiday club days over the rest of the week and discount in price if you come for multiple days. • Hello lovely people, In need of some help please… My landlord has rented a property to me without an EPC.. my understanding is that is illegal. Have asked several times, in last three months and still not forthcoming. Have asked again plus now leaving at the end of the month & ignoring me totally - even to take meter readings & hand keys back!!! I really don’t want to go to court either but not sure as it is a private let whether I can go for mediation. Deposit was lodged via under govt scheme - 60 days later but at least lodged. No inventory on signing either so, not going to pay for anything either.. Could I bring in local councillor? For advice? Thanks and have a good weekend.
    • Has anyone else found it absolutely impossible to get an appointment at DMC on Crystal Palace Road since they implemented the new “link” system at 8am on a morning ? I was told by the receptionist that all appointments are taken within 15 minutes and it is not possible to book in advance anymore but … wait for it… they are still accepting new patients and there is a HUGE banner outside the surgery advertising this. How can this be allowed when they can’t service their existing patients ? I have left a complaint form but would any other DMC patients like to join forces and see if we can force them to make improvements ?
