Isn't that the film Wonderwall the soundtrack to which was by George Harrison?

George Harrison was played by Chris O'Neill in Back Beat.

There used to be an O?Neills at Denmark Hill but now it?s a Phoenix which is a fire risk to that old station building if there ever was one.

After a particularly alcoholic farewell to a young lady called Flo, my friends Chris, Martin and Mike got arrested for letting off a fire extinguisher in Johannesburg Airport. I had stayed home that day to help my dad fix a car and had to go get them out of the airport holding cells.

Never knew airports had holding cells until then.

    • They were never intended for commercial use. If they were to be used by small businesses, who would decide which of the many such businesses round here could use them? And what would be the criteria? And would those businesses then have precedence over the  non profit organisations who wanted to use them? What has East Dulwich become, if that is the case?
    • Thought I'd share in the hope this doesn't happen to anyone else... On Friday evening I was walking home from work and a man on an e-bike came up behind me on the pavement and ripped my phone out of my hand. I had headphones on so didn't hear him come up behind me. It happened in broad daylight and unfortunately he wasn't caught. Police weren't able to do anything as he wasn't able to be identified. He was in all black with a black hat and black gloves. Was seen then going down the hill towards ED Station. This seems to be happening more regularly in this area so please watch out and keep safe!
    • The thread I linked to above explains  the background, and that the cake was apparently named AFTER the shop was named. Arapina is a racist slur  in Greek, and was not originally the name for a cake (let alone a chocolate cake, if that is what the cake in question is. If that is indeed  the case, my reaction is unprintable but starts with WTF 😮)
