Recommended Posts

I am pleased to announce that Tippee Toes will be running their next five week baby massage course from 16 May 2014. Please see details below:

DATES: 16, 23, 30 May 2014, 6 and 13 June 2014 (every Friday).

If you are unable to commit to all five dates, please do get in touch as we can make up a maximum of two missed sessions.

TIME: 10.30am to 11.30am

VENUE: Bellenden Therapies, 147a Bellenden Road, London SE15 4DH

FULL COURSE FEE: ?55.00 payable in advance

Fee includes:

- 50ml bottle of pure vegetable based oil

- class handouts

- certificate on completion of the course

- telephone & email support throughout and following completion of the course

The only thing you need to bring along with you each week is a towel, spare nappy and wipes, your massage oil (which is provided to you at the beginning of your first session) and, of course, your baby! It is advisable to wear loose fitting clothes as you will be moving about on mats and the room will be warm.

What to expect

This is a very welcoming and sociable course. The group is kept intimate and consists of 5-7 babies. Each week there will be an ice breaker to bond the group together. You will learn to massage your baby from head to toe and understand the benefits involved (of which there are many). Please refer to website for further details. On the fifth and final week of the course, we will engage in some new and favourite action songs combined with some gentle movements, followed by a talk on Homeopathy.

This course is suitable for babies from birth to 12 months. I will also give you ideas on how to adapt the massage strokes for your growing baby!

If you are interested in further information or a course gift voucher, please do not hestiate to contact me on the details below.

Best wishes

    • What do you need a solicitor for? What advice do you/they need? Only the courts or the tenants can end a tenancy, the landlord can only require possession. If it is a section 21 that is a "no fault" eviction,  meaning the landlord simply wants their property back vacant. If it is a section 8 it means the landlord requires possession because of rent arrears or some other kind of breach of the tenancy agreement. If there is no notice then it is potentially an illegal eviction. TBH the council are probably likely to advise they stay put until the courts evict them, but that could result in them being allocated emergency accomodation - which could be outside of Southwark and possibly a hotel room or hostel.  As you will be very much aware council housing is rarer than hens teeth in inner London so I would advise this family not to pin thejr hopes on that, they would better off trying to find somewhere more stable to rent privately.
    • If the eviction is coming through an agent, it’s unlikely to be an illegal eviction in which case a solicitor would be an expensive waste of money. Southwark council’s  housing department   gives free advice/help to private tenants. 02075254113

    • Niko is fantastic, he's been my plumber for a few years now. He's honest, reliable, trustworthy and always gives good advice on how to look after your plumbing. In the past Niko has replaced my shower mixer tap, kitchen sink tap and cleared a sink blockage etc. I would definitely recommend Niko, he always does a fantastic job and takes pride in his work. Niko is the only  plumber I would call, really nice guy, always makes me laugh. His number is; 07818 607583. Thanks, Harj
