Dentist in ED

I'm moving to ED over the weekend and one of my back teeth has decided to disintegrate at 3pm on a Friday (!) which means I'll need to see a Dentist asap/on Tuesday (because of the Bank Holiday).

Could anybody recommend a good Dentist in the area? - I've tried Shane Curran (recommended) but they're only taking private patients and I've heard bad things about the one on Lordship Lane, and The Gardens.

Bad things about The Gardens? How so? Anyway, their NHS list is closed now. I am with them and am very happy. They saved me from some unnecessary work proposed by another dentist. Think the Smile, Northcross Rd surgery is taking NHS patients now.

Agree with Mustard, I have had excellent treatment (private) at The Gardens and would recommend if they have any emergency appointments.

Curious to know where you went in the end SharonLD?

I went to Smile on Northcross Road the other day and saw a young lady there. She tried to sell me tooth whitening BEFORE I had even sat down in the chair - before she had even looked at my teeth! Unprofessional to say the least. I won't be back.
