With my first son I always opted for the vest under a normal top option for feeding when out and about (so as not to expose too much post-pregnancy belly!). This time the weather is a bit warmer and the tops I have that fit aren't really long enough to cover the top of the maternity jeans I'm still wearing post-c section.

I saw a woman wearing a lovely simple breastfeeding top at a breastfeeding a cafe this week but didn't have chance to ask where she bought it from, so I just wondered if anyone has any recommendations for where I should look for reasonably priced breastfeeding tops? Either locally or preferably online.

Thank you.

Not massively helpful to your specific question, but this time I decided I couldn't be arsed with BF tops at all and I feed over the top, while babies head was small/I was expecting milk coming back out I used a muslin to drape over me/them but as babies head got bigger (and me bolder ;) I just whack the boob out v quickly over the top, latch on and then hide it away as soon as possible once feed over. For me this is much more preferable to revealing belly and this strategy means dresses are back on the agenda, especially good at this time of year!

Thank you all - I'll take a look at your recommendations this weekend.

Bluesuperted - I have no objection to over the top, especially with dresses like you say, just need to wait until these poor boobs of mine have healed as anything like that is still too incredibly painful at the moment!

also try http://www.vertbaudet.co.uk/ will deliver and had some good ones and also mamas and pappas..i found these the best sites.

Plus maxi dresses with lower neckline a good summer option too..supermarkets on line often have a few less expensive ones you don't mind stretching to feed.

hope that helps

    • Hope all the ‘high streets for people’ events went well! Very short notice probably for people living in the area and on a very hot day!  James McAsh just doesn’t know what to do next with Southwark Council Tax payers money. He advocates the few streets in the area that has a bus service and then shuts the routes down! Very annoying for people who want to go about their daily business and have already had restrictions brought in by McAsh.
    • Thank goodness for Greg. I had an awful situation whereby I was notified that water was leaking from my flat into the flat below me. I was 150 miles away at the time and had a panicked journey home not knowing what I was going to face.   I called Greg (after seeing reviews on the forum) as soon as I arrived home in the evening and he arrived just after 10pm and was able to shut off the problem. He had to come back to finalise the job which turned out to be caused in a communal area whereby there was a blockage in the stack pipe.   Greg worked quickly, efficiently and informed me every step of the way as to what he was doing and why. He also cleaned up really well afterwards.  Greg's charges are very reasonable and he will definitely be my "go-to" if I have any other plumbing issues in the future.
