Recipe for fox

Iv just found a nice big dead fox in the park does anyone have any good tips on how I should cook this wonderful find and what it be best to serve with it.

Because to get real flavour you need a country fox - this is just a common fox.

someone did publish a book about cooking road-kill so the information is out there, probably the EDF isn't the golden source of this info, unless you want people to GTFY.

The idea does occur to me as I frequently pass badger, fox, pheasant and the odd deer in my fortnightly countryside excursions.

Go the traditional route - a salt and sugar cure (maybe a bit of dill), thinly sliced - then pop a bagel in the toaster and voila - Fox and bagels.
