Earl Aelfheah
Saw a big sporty looking Mercedes driving down Lordship Lane yesterday with a personalised number plate of 'POLLUTION'. adonirum
A fair few years ago I saw a Ford Escort Cabriolet with it's roof down. It's occupant was a tanned, long blonde haired lady wearing a low cut top (this is not a sexist comment but she was very very big busted) and a short skirt showing most of her legs. Earl Aelfheah
I was genuinely taken aback that anyone would wish to have such an obnoxious number plate (you may expect it of Jeremy Clarkson I guess). henryb
Many years ago I saw this one. Not on this car though. Not sure what would possess someone to buy it. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/43716-po11ution/#findComment-742843 Share on other sites

He would be the first to admit his personality is like that of the T.V. character, Victor Meldrew. His reg no:AR51 OAP. Priceless!!! Loz
Someone did a DVLA check in the Guardian comments section and discovered that the plate does indeed belong to a Porche. That's not to say Top Gear didn't do it on purpose, but it does seem legit. uncleglen
The Beeb sourced 3 cars for Argentina and since anyone under the age of 40 probably would not have a clue when the Falklands was, chances are it was pure coincidence- lol Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/43716-po11ution/#findComment-787037 Share on other sites
