Monkey
Does anyone know of any evening gym classes in the East Dulwich area (ideally around Goodrich/Barry road)? I am looking for a class that's tough enough to get me back into shape promptly but which will be very kind on my weak pelvic floor. Ideally I would want an instructor who is trained in women's health issues. Thank you. acb2013
Also following with interest! If there are no suggestions but a few people keen, I wonder if it'd be an idea to see if there is a local personal trainer willing to suggest & organise a small group class/programme? doctorsaz
Gosh, Monkey. I feel like I could have written this myself.I lost weight during pregnancy and have put on a shitload since. Zumba is seriously pelvic floor challenging (and overwhelming....) Nice! Monkey
Great idea acb! I would be very keen. And yes, doctorsaz, I think Zumba revealed the problem two years ago. Feeling brave, i tried again a few weeks ago but was both too worried about my pelvic floor and too fat to follow the steps. Didine
ESPH do an assessment on your physical condition and then a trainer recommends exercises to do. Could be worth trying and ask to focus on pelvic floor exercise. Then I must say, I found it hard to commit to go the gym regularly.
